We are excited to announce the launch of our website and share our vision for the future of flock management. Welcome to 4Barn — a project born from a simple idea: modern farming deserves modern tools.

Who We Are

We are a small team of software developers and agriculture enthusiasts based in Europe. Between us, we bring experience in mobile development, data engineering, and — most importantly — a genuine passion for livestock farming. Some of us grew up on farms; others came to appreciate the craft later in life. What unites us is the belief that technology should make a farmer's day easier, not more complicated.

What We're Building

4Barn is a mobile flock management application designed for sheep, cattle, and goat farmers. Our goal is to give you a tool that fits in your pocket and helps you:

  • Track your animals — from birth to sale, with full identification and lineage records.
  • Monitor health events — log vaccinations, treatments, and veterinary visits in seconds.
  • Analyse breeding performance — spot trends, plan matings, and improve your flock over time.
  • Keep your records in order — 4Barn is being built with EU and local regulations in mind.

Why We Started

Too many farmers still rely on paper notebooks, spreadsheets, or memory to keep track of their animals. These methods work — until they don't. A missed vaccination, a lost record, or an incomplete breeding history can cost real money and real time. We started 4Barn because we saw an opportunity to solve these everyday problems with a simple, well-designed app.

What's Next

We are currently in the early stages of development. Over the coming months, we'll be sharing updates about our progress, posting farming tips, and gathering feedback from the community. If you're a livestock farmer — whether you manage 20 sheep or 2,000 — we'd love to hear from you.

Subscribe to our mailing list on the home page to stay in the loop, or drop us a message through our contact form. Your input will directly shape what we build.

Thank you for being here from the very beginning. We can't wait to show you what's coming. Stay tuned — and welcome to 4Barn.
